Sociopaths Are Glam

The Shamefaced Sparrows - “The Madison” -

Death Pop from Dalston, London.

Our mother was a Ye-Ye girl.

Our father was Link Wray.

The Shamefaced Sparrows unleash another deadly cool demo from their haunts in the coolest place in Britain (or at least the place with a line to Paul Flynn’s bank account). “The Madison” makes good on The Shamefaced Sparrows’ Link Wray claims with a blistering surf intro that segues into something appropriately danceable, as the song title alludes to the dance of the same name, immortalized (and made way cooler than it probably had any right to be) by the classic Jean-Luc Godard film Bande à part.
